Video of suspended CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele getting arrested at the airport by DSS operatives

LIB has obtained a video of suspended Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele getting arrested by operatives of the DSS at the airport while allegedly attempting to flee the country.
 

Emefiele was forced out of the car he was in and taken away by the DSS operatives.  DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya has confirmed that the embattled suspended CBN Governor is now in their custody for “investigative reasons”.

The statement read;

“EMEFIELE, NOW IN DSS CUSTODY

The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby confirms that Mr Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in its custody for some investigative reasons.

The public, particularly the Media, is enjoined to apply utmost caution in the reportage and narratives concerning this.
