Cristiano Ronaldo is now a Guinness World Record holder

Portuguese International footballer, Christiano Ronaldo now holds a Guinness World Record for the most goals scored in international matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the record highest goalscorer in international football after he helped Portugal beat the Republic of Ireland 2-1 in World Cup qualifying on Wednesday. The Manchester United forward has now 111 international goals, breaking a record of 109 goals previously held by Iran’s Ali Daei
