2023: Why the North will go for Tinubu- Aliyu

 
 …. Says it’s pay back time for Jagaban

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the National Youth Coodinator of Tinubu Support Organisation, Alhaji Abubakr Aliyu has said that the northern part of the country will vote for the former governor of Lagos and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He said nothern youths are for Tinubu 2023 presidency because he is the only leader who has the interest of the country at heart and believe in the unity of the country.


Speaking at the inauguration various directorates and directors of Rinubu Support Organisation, TSO,to pilot the affairs of the organisation in Lagos State, Aliyu described Tinubu as a generous leaders who has the skills to turn the fortune of the country around.


He said the northern youths are for Tinubu and would do everything to ensure the man emerge the next president that will succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that they are determined to replicate the support the former governor gave President Buhari to emerge the president after several failed attempts.


He said: “Why we like Tinubu is because he is the only leaders that have the ineterst of the 19 northern states at heart. Our leaders in the north use to approach him whenever they have issues. He has also contributed a lot to the development of the north.

“You will all recall that President Buhari contested presidential elections for 3 times without a success until Tinubu joined and helped him by bringing five ACN governors, several senators and House of Representatives members to join him. That was when the Buhari Presidency became a reality.We must appreciate the fact that this man is leader of all and has all it takes to move Nigeria forward.”

Meanwhile,Lagos State chapter of the Tinubu Support Organisation, TSO,has inaugurated various directorates and directors to pilot the affairs of the organisation in Lagos State.
The group also said that the best man to succeed President Muahhamdu Buhari is the former Lagos State governor and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, saying that it is high time Nigerians came together to persuade him to  contest for the 2023.


The inauguration which was held at WaterCress Event Centre, in Ikeja, had in attendance the Director-General of the TSO, Hon Aminu Suleiman; SA to Sanwo-Olu on Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Bayo Osiyemi, who represented the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State governor; chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, Hon Wahab Alawiye-King; SA on Islamic Affairs to Sanwo-Olu, Hon Abdullahi Jebe, Lagos State Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure, Arch Kabiru Ahmed Abdullahi; elder brother to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Bayo Sanwo-Olu among other dignitaries. 


Speaking after the inauguration, Lagos State Coordinator of TSO, Otunba Akin C. Ibesanmi insisted that putting sentiments apart Tinubu has paid his dues in Nigerian political secene. He added that his competence and acumen are never in doubt, adding that the former has proved over and over that he has the midas touch to take Nigeria to greater heights.


He specifically appreciated the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat and the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State governor, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde for their immeasurable past support, even as he requested for more support to navigate the shop of Lagos TSO to the shore of success, morally, physically and financially.
He disclosed that the Directorate being inaugurated are the various departments of the organisation, “saddled with the responsibilities of driving the activities of the group at the grassroots.


Describing the TSO and both pressure and support group, Ibesanmi said, “Former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, as you are all aware has yet to throw his hat into the ring for the Nigerian Presidency, but as a pressure group, TSO is hereby pressuring the Jagaban of Borgu to start thinking in that direction, if he has not given it a thought, and come out openly to make his intention known, because we in the TSO believe that the Asiwaju of Lagos is eminently qualified to steer the shop of governance of our dear country and take her to prosperity.”

On reason for spearheading Tinubu Presidency, the Director-General of the TSO, Hon Aminu Suleiman, said that Nigerians shouldn’t be surprised that northerner like him believed and advocacy for the former Lagos State  to succeed President Buhari, adding that Tinubu had done that everything to support President Buhari’s emergence. “This is the pay back time for us in the North to also rally round Asiwaju Tinubu, who supported our brother President Buhari in 2015. We are solidly behind and we believe in his presidency.”


Suleiman said that he had come a long way with Asiwaju Tinubu and discovered that the politician has all it takes to govern Nigeria successfuly.

Meanwhile, the highlights of the programme was the administration of oath of office on the directors of the various directorates and their deputies; as well as devotion of invited guests with the TSO pin.
